Don Vica (established in 1992) is a dynamic wholly Australian owned family based gourmet food company located south of the port of Fremantle, Western Australia. Don Vica specializes in premium quality olives for the retail and food service industries.

The name Don Vica is derived from the Christian names of the two founding partners Veronica and Donna who were young teachers looking to embark on a career change. They began producing anchovy hand stuffed olives marinated in herbs, spices & olive oil, which were distributed to selective delis.

In 1994 Veronica Morrissey took over the name and company Don Vica, her partner Mark Westlake came on board and with his business expertise the company changed direction.

Don Vica realized the absence of quality ready made gourmet olives in shops, and inspired by unique and culinary flavours from all over the world, Veronica began experimenting with olive marinades using fresh herbs and spices. The hand stuffed olives now included sundried tomatoes, roasted almonds, chilli, pesto and various cheeses.

Select gourmet food outlets introduced our olive products to their customers and Don Vica began to fill the niche for gourmet olives to complement the cosmopolitan tastes and Mediterranean lifestyle of modern Australians.

In 2003 Don Vica custom built a factory to accommodate the 25 full and part time staff. Don Vica is an Australian owned company which always prefers to use quality local ingredients.

Veronica & Mark are involved in all levels of production and management in their company to ensure that there is strict quality control and therefore maintain the high standard of their product.

Don Vica's reputation for quality & value has created a new niche market for premium ready made gourmet marinated and hand stuffed olives.

Don Vica embraces the changing nature of the food industry and is proud of being product selective and innovative to satisfy market trends in both Australia and overseas.
